ALL vs. AML Case Study
To identify genes that can differentiate ALL vs. AML, and predict the type
of unknown samples using the expression values of these genes.
This set of 35 genes have distinct expression
patterns between ALL and AML in the training data set.
ALL = sample 1 – 27
AML = sample 28 – 38
The same set of 35 genes correctly predict the sample
type in the independent data set.
AML = The left half of the tree (sample 66,50,51,53,62,64,57,60,65,52,63,54,58,61
